Thanks to the consistent and dedicated work of a Hungarian developer, the IWind 50 wind energy utilization device was created in 2014. The result of the development is an extremely quiet (silent), environmentally friendly, cost-efficient wind generator with a high capacity, long service life and minimal maintenance requirements. The generator is suitable for generating electricity from a wind speed of 0.5 m/s, but also works reliably in stormy wind conditions. Thanks to its unique installation and adjustment options, which adapt to the environmental conditions, the device has become a marketable product.

MAINTENANCE

  • The wind generator does not require any significant maintenance
  • A static inspection of the construction must be carried out annually
  • Protective measures against electric shock and all tests and maintenance measures relating to electrical systems must also be carried out annually
  • Wear of the rotating components is to be expected in the long term - this mainly concerns the replacement of the bearings (probably after approx. 10 years of continuous operation)
  • Planned service life: over 40 years!
  • With off-grid operation, the usual wear and tear on the batteries must also be taken into account
    (modern batteries have a service life of 3,000-5,000 charge/discharge cycles, i.e. 8-10 years)
  • The manufacturer or provider ensures the necessary maintenance and inspection for a flat fee
